Bandar Meru Raya
The newer township on Klebang’s doorstepMost of what people mean by “Meru” today is Bandar Meru Raya, a township between Jelapang and Chemor that already has its everyday anchors in place.
Meru Raya Terminal
Formerly Terminal Amanjaya, this is Ipoh’s main long-distance bus terminal, around 12 km north of the city centre, with routes to Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru and Singapore.
Mydin Meru Raya
A Mydin mall opposite the bus terminal, covering groceries and everyday shopping on the Meru side.
Tenby International School
Tenby Schools Ipoh has run its purpose-built Meru Raya campus since 2013 — a real factor for families who want an international school without a daily drive across town.
More is planned: Meru Raya is earmarked for a cluster of government offices. Treat those as plans, not as something already open.

🚗 Jelas Expressway
